Little Old Doll

I’m a old little doll sitting in my room
Locked for an eternity in my tomb
I wait for slumber so the pain can go away
To hide in my dreams where I am free to play
When I awake I only wish to sleep
For in my dreams is a fantasy I want to keep
I try to move but my stitches come undone
Stitches have been loosened so I can no longer run
I am broken  in my own home
Sitting in my tomb for an eternity all alone
Wishing to be free and see the day again
But only in my sleep is when happiness begins
My lips sown shut so I can’t speak
My button eyes glimmer, as if there’s a leak
I’m a old little doll sitting in my room
